California Canoe & Kayak announces new retail and rental location in the South Bay.

California Canoe & Kayak (CCK), founded by paddlers in 1972, with locations in Oakland, Rancho Cordova, Lotus and Half Moon Bay, has expanded to San Carlos in San Mateo County. CCK provides retails sales as well as rentals, instruction and tours. Besides being the largest paddlesports retailer in Northern California, CCK is highly regarded by the local paddling community for its excellent service and unparalleled knowledge of ocean, bay, lakes and river paddling.
California Canoe & Kayak occupies the former retail location of Aquan Sports at 840 Brittan Avenue, San Carlos, CA 94070, and will continue the excellent service, instruction and product selection that Aquan Sports provided to their customers over the last 10 years. CCK will continue and expand the rental and instructional programs at Parkside Aquatic Park, 1097 Seal Court, San Mateo, CA 94403.
Over the next month you will see lots of changes. Presently closed Monday and Tuesday for reorganization, CCK is open for business Wednesday through Saturday, 10:30 am to 6 pm, Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. Look for the grand opening around the end of October.
CCK will continue to sell and rent dive equipment and provide PADI Dive instruction. Customers will still find a good selection of swimming, snorkeling and triathlon gear at the shop. They will also see some new brands including Hobie Kayaks, Wenonah Canoes, Current Designs Kayaks, Jackson Kayaks, Oru Kayak, Epic Surfskis, Valley Kayaks, Feel Free, P&H Kayaks; stand-up paddleboards by Hobie, Starboard, SIC, Pau Hana, and Bic; Werner Paddles, Epic Paddles, Bending Branches, Aqua Bound, Kokatat Waterwear, GoPro, Stohlquist, NRS, Thule Racks and Rhino Racks.
