Brooks Island Kayaking Tour

Come join us for an exciting day of kayaking and island exploration! It is an easy, half-mile trip in stable double-kayaks across the sheltered water between the Richmond Marina and Brooks Island. To visit the island, you must be accompanied by the park caretakers; it is an environmentally sensitive nature reserve, and a marvelous bird sanctuary! Over 100 species of birds are known to visit Brooks Island, and at least 18 species of birds nest here. The 360 degree view of the Bay Area from the top of the island is breathtaking. Don't miss out on a unique trip!
