Kayak Rolling - Rancho Cordova    $60

Build your confidence and learn to roll! Rolling is the safest and fastest self rescue technique available for white water paddlers and sea kayakers. We have heated pools in the Sacramento and Bay Area for the most comfortable learning environment. Roll classes in Rancho Cordova are taught at the INDOOR POOL of the Swimstitute next door to CCK. Sessions are scheduled for Thursdays from 8PM to 10PM (actual duration in the pool is about 1.5 hours).
Practice Only Sessions: $15 pool fee with your own kayak. Separate $10 fee for whitewater boat rental. Call (916) 851-3600 to reserve a boat for practice; space is limited!

Note: Kayak rolling is normally taught in whitewater kayaks due to space limitations in the pool and to facilitate the learning process. Please call us if you wish to use a sea kayak for your session.

Prerequisites: There is no prerequisite for this class; however, previous paddling experience is highly recommended. Your progression will be quicker if you have completed Beginning Sea Kayaking or Whitewater 101.

The repeat rolling class is for those who wish to repeat and perfect their roll. We have heated pools in the Sacramento and Bay Area for the most comfortable learning environment. Designed for and taught by women, the 201 class takes place on the gorgeous South Fork of the American River in Coloma, CA. After completing our Whitewater 101 course, take this class for a smooth transition into the realm of down river paddling. Become a whitewater kayaker with California Canoe & Kayak!
