Kayak Rolling - Folsom Aquatic Center $60 Sign Up Now more info Alternate location, in the Bay Area: Kayak Rolling: Oakland Build your confidence and learn to roll! Rolling is the safest and fastest self rescue technique available for white water paddlers and sea kayakers. We have heated pools in the Sacramento and Bay Area for the most comfortable learning environment. Sacramento area roll classes in are taught at the Folsom Aquatic Center. Sessions are scheduled on Thursdays from 8PM to 10PM (actual duration in the pool is about 1.5 hours). Practice Only Sessions: $10 pool fee with your own kayak (pay to CCK). Separate $10 fee for whitewater boat rental. Call (916) 851-3600 to reserve a boat for practice sessions; space is limited! Note: Kayak rolling is normally taught in whitewater kayaks due to space limitations in the pool and to facilitate the learning process.
