"DOG DAYS" OF SUMMER SPECIAL! Normally $699. Final week, August 23-27, only $599.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this class. However, good physical condition will help assure a more enjoyable experience.

Kayak Rolling - Folsom Aquatic Center    $60
                  
Alternate location, in the Bay Area: Kayak Rolling: Oakland
Build your confidence and learn to roll! Rolling is the safest and fastest self rescue technique available for white water paddlers and sea kayakers. We have heated pools in the Sacramento and Bay Area for the most comfortable learning environment. Sacramento area roll classes in are taught at the Folsom Aquatic Center. Sessions are scheduled on Thursdays from 8PM to 10PM (actual duration in the pool is about 1.5 hours).
Practice Only Sessions: $10 pool fee with your own kayak (pay to CCK). Separate $10 fee for whitewater boat rental. Call (916) 851-3600 to reserve a boat for practice sessions; space is limited!
Note: Kayak rolling is normally taught in whitewater kayaks due to space limitations in the pool and to facilitate the learning process. Please call us if you wish to use a sea kayak for your session.
Prerequisites: There is no prerequisite for this class; however, previous paddling experience is highly recommended. Your progression will be quicker if you have completed Beginning Sea Kayaking or Whitewater 101.

The repeat rolling class is for those who wish to repeat and perfect their roll. We have heated pools in the Sacramento and Bay Area for the most comfortable learning environment. Enjoy two weekdays on the river by enrolling in our two-day introductory whitewater kayaking course taught on the South Fork of the American River in Coloma, CA ($20 savings over the weekend class). Our 101 class covers the basic strokes and techniques necessary to run the river - the first in a sequence of classes. The mid-week class is scheduled to match up with our 201 class on the weekend! You can enroll in four consecutive days of fantastic whitewater kayaking - the best way to learn, and a great way to get hooked on boating.

Prerequisites: No previous kayaking experience is required; however, good physical condition is important to ensure an enjoyable class; river kayaking can be strenuous! The minimum age for Whitewater 101 is 14 years; children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
