About our Corporate Program
California Canoe & Kayak offers an easy introduction to sea kayaking for your business or private party. This is a great way to take a break from a meeting, get outside and enjoy the natural setting of Half Moon Bay. (Ask us about the many excellent conference facilities available on the coastside.) Our location in Pillar Point Harbor, is ideal for a quick sea kayaking get-away. For first time kayakers, we recommend tandem kayaks for their ease of use, stability and double-the-fun! Tandem kayaks are excellent for team-building exercises, too, if that is your goal. (Single sea kayaks are available for experienced paddlers). Our enthusiastic staff will give a brief orientation to the equipment and strokes, then guide you on a tour of the area. Conditions allowing, we may paddle out of the harbor to explore the open ocean, drift among the kelp beds and spot the resident sea otter! Remember, you may get wet, so bring a warm layer to go with your paddling gear (see list below). After the kayaking, visit one of the fine restaurants in the area.
This program is also offered at our Jack London Square location, on the Oakland Estuary, just steps away from the conference rooms of the Waterfront Hotel. Trips to other locations can be arranged upon request. |
