Repeat Kayak Rolling Class in Folsom

Sessions are scheduled on Thursdays from 8PM to 10PM.
Build your confidence and learn to roll! Rolling is the safest and fastest self rescue technique available. We have a heated pool in Folsom for the most comfortable learning environment.
Prerequisite: Previous Kayak Rolling class with California Canoe & Kayak

Class Cost:
First Time Student: $60
Repeat Sessions: $50

Note: Kayak rolling is normally taught in whitewater kayaks due to space limitations in the pool and to facilitate the learning process. Please call us if you wish to use a sea kayak for your session.

Practice Sessions: $10 pool fee with your own kayak (pay to CCK). Separate $10 fee for whitewater boat rental. Call (916) 851-3600 to make your reservation for practice and boat rental; space is limited!

Equipment:
CCK provides all kayak equipment. Equipment includes paddle jacket, Personal Floatation Device (PFD), spray skirt, paddle and kayak. You will need to provide the following items for the class.

To Bring With you:

• One long sleeve shirt of synthetic material: polypro, polyester, fleece, or wool. No cotton, please!
• A swimsuit
• Footwear that can get wet, i.e.: aqua socks, wet suit booties, or lightweight sneakers. Please do not bring bulky shoes or river sandals. They are very uncomfortable in the kayaks.
• 1 qt. water bottle(s)
• Nose plugs and/or dive mask
• Towel, shower supplies, and warm clothes to change into after class. There are hot showers on site.
