Kayak Roll Class Goal: Introduce the kayak roll. Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this class; however, previous paddling experience is highly recommended. Your progression will be quicker if you have completed Beginning Sea Kayaking or Whitewater 101. The minimum age for Roll Class is 14 years; children under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Duration of class: 7PM - 9PM; actual duration in the pool is about 1.5 hours. Location: JFK High School (Richmond) Note: Good physical condition is required to ensure an enjoyable class. If you are not sure about your abilities to handle such an activity, please call our program office at 800-366-9804.
