CCK Paddling Club

Join the CCK Paddling Club

Get out on the water and practice your new skills in a supportive environment. Meet new friends have some fun and get in some exercise while you are at it.

Club Membership is $150/yr  ($100 with enrollment in BSK) plus sales tax.

Join CCK staff for guided social paddles and trips, or use your discount to continue your class progression. Get out on the water and keep paddling! Club membership is good for 12 months and includes the following:

  • Free attendance and use of equipment at weekly Club paddles (at all CCK locations); $10 discount on Wednesday evening paddles in Oakland
  • Free attendance and use of equipment at monthly moonlight paddles
  • 20% discount on most CCK classes*
  • 20% discount on most CCK trips*
  • 20% discount on kayak rentals
  • 15% discount on Thule Rack (so you can transport your kayak)
  • Pre-sales notifications and first chance on year-end used boat sale
  • Free Club T-shirt and equipment use at annual Club paddle/party
 *Excludes: Rolling classes, guest instructors, ACA Instructor Courses and outside contractor trips.

Trade-ins!
We will guarantee fair value on a trade-in for new boats purchased at CCK as follows:

  • Whitewater boats: You will receive a minimum of 50% if the boat is less than 1 year old. Older boats may be accepted for trade in based on a percentage of current resale value. The boat must be in "sellable" condition with normal wear and tear for its age; no repairs, folds or alterations. The boat must have been originally purchased at CCK.*
  • All other boats: a minimum of 70% of the purchase price if less than 1 year old, 60% for less than two year old boats, and 50% for less than 3 year old boats. The boat must be in "sellable" condition with normal wear and tear for its age; no repairs, folds or alterations. The boat must have been originally purchased at CCK.*

30/90 Used Boat Plan
Buying a used boat? CCK makes it easy! Buy a used boat from us and keep it up to 30 days. If you are not satisfied for any reason return it for a one time trade across or up. We guarantee all used boats for a full 90 days from purchase date.*

90 Day Demo Program
You give us $300 + tax or $200 + tax for Whitewater Kayaks. We give you 90 days to try all the boats you want. If you buy a new boat within the 90 day period we will apply the full demo fee toward your purchase. Boats may be taken off site a maximum of 5 days in any combination of days. Composite boats available on-site in Oakland only.*
