Full Moon Paddle on Lake Natoma    $39
                 
Join us for a relaxing paddle while we watch the moon rise over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Stars and moon shimmer with every dip of the paddle in the mirror like surface of the lake, as night herons, beaver, and paddlers become a part of the night sky. CCK has special permission from the State Park service allowing us to stay on the water after normal park hours. CCK provides all the paddling equipment.

CAUTION: In addition to purchasing a parking pass or annual Parks Pass, you will need to obtain an "After Hours Paddling Pass" from our guide. No exceptions!

NOTE: Moonlight Paddles launch at Willow Creek on Lake Natoma. Start times will differ as moon rise times and dates change, please PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR SPECIFIC START DATE and TIME:

Prerequisites: Kayak Basics (or equivalent) for single kayak; novices may paddle in a double kayak with an experienced friend. Good physical condition is required to assure an enjoyable trip.
Trips may be cancelled due to poor weather.

Sign up here for the Lake Natoma Full Moon Paddle ONLY IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN KAYAK.
If you wish to use one of our kayaks, please sign up for the Full Moon Paddle on Lake Natoma.

Please note that our job is to ensure the enjoyment and safety t of the entire group. As such the following requirements have been instituted to make that possible.

~ You must sign up in advance and be listed on our roster in order to participate in this event, or you must bring a copy of your confirmation letter that is emailed to you upon booking a reservation.
~ Inflatable kayaks or craft shorter than 12 feet are NOT permitted on this trip.This policy is to ensure that we are able to keep our guests together as a group, and that everyone is able to go the distance. We often cover 7 miles from Willow Creek up to the Old Rainbow Bridge and beyond. Please assess your own abilities to ensure your own enjoyment of this trip.
~ Our guides are responsible for your safety and conduct while in the State Park after hours. All participants must stay with the group for the duration of the event.
~ You must obtain from our guide a "State Parks / After Hours Paddling Pass"; failure to obtain and display this pass along side your State Park Parking Pass will result in a parking ticket being issued by the State Park!
~ You must return the 'After Hours Paddling Pass' after the completion of the paddle, this is a State Owned pass and unauthorized possession or use is prohibited by the State Park.

Lake Natoma Social Paddle - Weeknights    $15
                 
Join us for a relaxed evening paddle on Lake Natoma. This is a great beginning trip for graduates of the Kayak Basics class. You can introduce a friend to kayaking by paddling together in one of our stable doubles, with at least 48 hours advance notice. Weeknight paddles start at 6:00pm and go until 8 pm.
Start time: 6:00PM; Please try to arrive at least 15 min early. We are on the water at 6:15 PM.
PLEASE BE ON TIME - IT IS IMPRACTICAL FOR THE GROUP TO WAIT FOR LATE ARRIVALS!
Cost: $15 per person, includes kayak and gear. Sign up online, space is limited - so book early!
