Hourly Rental Rates:

Rental Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday Closed
• Thursday - Sunday 10:30 to 3:30, last boat leave at 3:30 must return by 4:30 PM
• 1 Hour Minimum
• Store Hour: THURS-SUN 10:00 to 5:00PM
• Group of 20 people can be arrange through our programs office on Monday-Wednesday email [email protected] or call 510 893 7833 for availability.

We recommend you plan to paddle earlier in the day. Afternoons can be windy.

Things to know before arriving

• Please arrived at least 15 minutes to complete any necessary paper work.
  
• Optional paddle jackets and wetsuits are available for an additional charge of $5.00 each.
• A driver's License must be left as a deposit during the rental.
  
• Each individual renter is required to read and sign a liability release waiver.
• Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or their legal guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• The minimum age in a double kayak with an adult is 5 years old.
• NO ALCOHOL consumption allowed while renting from California Canoe & Kayak.
• Booking Fee and California Sales Tax will be added to all rentals.
• Last minute cancellation is always possible. FULL CREDIT towards rebooking or refund will be made if California Canoe & Kayak is forced to cancel a rental for any reason. In such cases, our liability extends to the cost of the rental only, not travel and accommodations.

Do you want to Demo Hobie Mirage Kayak, Kayak or SUP?

• There is a fee to demo, It will be applied to purchase of kayak or SUP.
  

Whitewater Kayak Demos 

• At our Rancho Cordova location call to reserve 916-851-3600.
• At California Canoe & Kayak we understand that you may want to try before you buy.
• $35 a day for Whitewater Kayak. Includes: Float bags, Sprayskirt and Kayak.
• You can use 3 demo fees up to $105 towards the purchase.

Hobie Mirage Adventure Island Tandem Sailing Kayak

Hobie Mirage Sailing Kayak is available for demo by appointment only at our Redwood City location. The price is $300 to demo. This is a three-hour demo with initial, on shore set-up instruction. The demo cost may be applied toward your purchase of an Adventure Island Tandem if purchase completed within thirty days.
