Warm Water Sea Kayak Rescue

Are you hesitant to practice your rescues in the chilly waters of the Bay? Don't want to squeeze into a tight wetsuit or heavy drysuit? Are you wanting to hone your assisted and self-rescue skills in the warm? If you answered YES, then this class is perfect for you! Join us for a session in a heated indoor pool where we will cover assisted and self-rescues in sea kayaks. If time allows, we will also explore some lesser-known yet useful rescue techniques. We will provide kayaks and all necessary gear.

Due to space limitations, this class is capped at 2 participants. After the class, you’ll have the opportunity to practice on your own for just $20 (pool fee), using your kayak, or you can rent one from us for $50.

Cost: from $100, which includes the $20 pool fee.

  • Minimum enrollment is 2 people. Private 1:1 instruction can be arranged if the minimum enrollment is not met ($150).
