Designed by Derek Hutchinson, the Sirocco is nimble and carves turns like a dream. I think it holds up with any other kayak in it’s class as far as speed and agility.
It’s just shy of 17 feet long, and 23 inches wide. The 13 inch depth provides plenty of cockpit volume for the mid-to-large size paddler, with a total rated weight of 375 pounds….that’s a lot of gear (or a lot of paddler!) At 60 pounds, it’s an average weight compared to it’s closest competitors.
